2017 Porsche 911 Details
The two-door 2017 Porsche 911 is offered as a coupe, retractable-roof coupe (Targa) or a soft-top convertible (Cabriolet). Among those different body styles, you’ll find a number of trims, including the Carrera, Carrera S, Carerra 4 and 4S, Turbo, Turbo S, GT3 and Gt3 RS.
Lower trims get a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that generates 370 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, while S and 4S variants of those models get an upgraded version of the same engine that offers an increased output of 420 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. Other models feature different powertrains and transmission options. Rear-wheel drive comes standard on lower models, while the “4” indicates all-wheel drive.
