2017 Porsche Macan Details
As the younger sibling of the infamous Porsche Cayenne, the new Porsche Macan achieves even more sports car performance, thanks to its smaller stature and lighter weight. Though the 2017 Porsche Macan models available at our Porsche Center come equipped with one of two engine variants, the highest trim level, GTS, offers slightly better performance thanks to more aggressive tuning, including lower and stiffer air-spring suspension than the S trim level. The smaller of the two engines, available only in the base trim level, is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine. That engine is no sleeper, producing 242 hp and up to 273 lb-ft of torque. The larger engine, a 3.0-liter V6, achieves 340 hp and up to 339 lb-ft of torque in the S trim level, and a slightly improved 360 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque in the GTS trim level.
